A dark caption.
"How are you feeling?"
"My head hurts, but I guess that's expected, right?" Stan asked.
"It is, yes." Dr. Ross said with a laugh. "I'd be a bit more shocked if you had no pain at all."
"I guess that's true." Stan said softly, feeling at his temple. "There's no risk of these stitches coming out, right?"
"Not a chance." Dr. Ross laughed. "Don't worry, your brain is very secure in Mrs. Collins' head. Unlike her brain."
"What did you do with it? Her brain?"
"It'll go to be used in a medical classroom. Probably a display for some doctor who won't know its origins. Your body has already been used for other experiments."
"I still don't get why, or am I not supposed to?"
"A, uh, situation came up, both a problem and several opportunities. Besides, I think you'll do fine as her. You did your researxh on her?"
"Yes."
"Think you can pretend to be her? Fool her husband?"
"You did find a method actor. Immersion is ny thing."
"Good, because later today we have our first test. He got back into town today and you are going to meet him in an hour. Be ready."
