A dark caption.

It is not often you see a woman dressed in mostly white, the cemetery groundskeeper thought as he was trimming the grass around the graves. He stopped what he was doing and watched her a moment, and saw she was going into one of the larger mausoleums the cemetery had, opening the door with a key she had and walking inside. He shrugged and kept to his work. He still had things to do.

It was later and evening had arrived and he had just finished up his work. As he went to put his equipment in the toolshed, he saw her leave, closing the door behind her and locking it. Had she been here the entire time? She had arrived in mid-afternoon!

What was stranger to him was not the length of time she was here, but her demeanor. Despite being a bit of a distance away, he say she was smiling and laughing, her body light, not the heavy somberness that a lot of people have coming here. No respectful grace or care for quiet decorum, no, she seemed giddy at her leaving and as the wind blew her skirt, she seemed to revel in it.

He went to put his tools away, wondering at the strange display and as he did, the woman looked over.

Anthony saw the groundskeeper go and didn't care one bit that his laughter had been seen. It wouldn't have affected him anyway. In the mausoleum was his old body, dead and decaying now, with her brain inside of his former head. He had no idea who she was, merely that she was compatible with him and the surgery was done. As for her, they couldn't really have her around, especially since her brain would be in the body of a wealthy man. No, she never woke up from the surgery and all that was left of her had just walked out of that mausoleum with a smile on her former face!
