Jeffery stood in the hotel lobby, empty save for the receptionist and manager that could not stop looking at him. He looked right back and they adverted their gaze.

He smiled at that, amused that once their gawking was noticed they immediately stopped. Well, didn't most people who gawk do the same, he thought as he stood there, holding the bouquet of flowers.

He was early had arrived already dressed for the photoshoot, something that wasn't able to be done at the actual wedding due to the chaos surrounding it. A man that gasses the the wedding party and their families and swaps their heads around will certainly do that.

That had been a hell of a day. One minute things were going fine, the next they were all choking on the gas, the next they woke up, each to their individual revelation and all to the collective one of what had transpired. How his head ended up on the bride's body he still did not understand. Maybe the person or persons who had done that wanted it that way. Maybe it was random. He hoped random, because if they had meant to do that...

He put that thought out of his head as his twenty-five year old granddaughter, the actual bride, walked in her head very much out of place on the body of her six-foot seven husband, wearing the very fetching tuxedo he had worn that day.

She walked up and hugged him, having to bend slightly to do so.

"I'm glad you're willing to do this for us. Seems a shame to have such nice things and not at least have a few pictures of them, right?"

"Too bad it's not you in it, Kaley." He said. "I'd much rather it be you."

"I know." She said. "I would also rather it be me, but this is our new reality. Besides, I think this is good. Use this, today to sort of heal from this, to use it to take back the wedding and not have those events completely define the day."

"Oh, I know, and that's why I agreed to it. I think you have the right idea here, but time will tell with the rest."

"Yeah, grandpa, you're right. Speaking of which, we're doing individual shots, then group shots, like bridesmaids, family, groomsmen, stuff like that. Nothing based around the bodies, like none with all the people in groomsman tuxes or in bridesmaid dresses. That would get way too weird way too fast. Besides, better to show the mismatch, you know? Show that isn't defining us. So, for example, you'd have a few individual shots and then a few the family, or for my husband and me, us individually and them some with him and me together, stuff like that."

"Good. That's what I thought you were doing, but I'm glad you made it clear. But some of me like this and with the rest of the family, that'd be nice. Oh, I did want to ask, how is your husband doing with all this?"

"I'm just glad he's bi, or we'd have been fucked. He's good, and I guess we're going to look pretty good still in his groomsman tux and my groom tux, so there's that."

"Speaking of which..."

He saw several more arrive, one of which was her husband, and they were a mismatch of young and old, men and women, different heights, weights, builds, tuxedos, suits, bridesmaid dresses and formal dress all coming up to those steps.

"We're about to find out. Ready for the wedding photos?"

She smiled.

"Ready."
