Slightly dark.

"So, doctor, if I said I had questions about my condition..."

"You'd be right in asking," Dr. Collins said. "So, what can I tell you? Or, should I ask, where do you want me to start?"

"The why would be the big thing."

"That one is easy. See, that accident with the bus left your body completely destroyed. How you survived is still a matter of debate, but you did. Her, she in a store that was having some work done and some genius contractor modified a nail gun but didn't test it out to see if it actually did what he wanted it to. She turned the wrong corner at wrong time is all I can say."

"So," the doctor continued. "We removed her head and attached your head onto her body. I know this isn't exactly like your old body..."

"No, not one damn bit." He interrupted. "Wasn't there any other way too..."

"No," the doctor said, interrupting him. "Not at all. It was this or death. You were in too bad of shape for us to wait. Look at it this way, you're alive and healthy."

"Yeah, yeah." He said, still angry but not at the doctor, just the situation in general. He didn't doubt the doctor's explanation, but that didn't make it any easier that he was now standing here in a punk dress, boots, pantyhose, and he could look down and see what was now his own cleavage!

He put a pale hand to his face and shook his head.

"So, what do I do now?"

"We're keeping you for two days for observation, then twice a week with a therapist and twice a week with someone to get you caught up on the realities of your new body. Anyway, we should continue this in your room. If you'll follow me, I can show you there."

He shook his head in frustration, but did follow the doctor. He had his life together. He had just gotten everything the way he wanted it, and now this. Of course.
