Devin had found it a bit too easy to get access to the building. He just went in with a group of people, a cheap wig done up well enough on his head and wearing a medical mask like he was sick, and the biometrics did the rest. Once he got up to her office, he dispensed with all of that. His new body and clothes were distracting enough and the wig and mask were at least something he could take off for a moment. He couldn't say the same for the rest.
Devin was looking for a particular set of files, a paper copy which was supposed to exist in her office. Files that would lead to a big research boon for the corporation that had hired him.
He looked around and saw nothing, checking her small filing cabinet and desk more than once. Not a thing. He sighed, realizing that there probably was never a paper copy. Who would have something like that in their desk, even it if it was in on a floor with limited access?
He sighed and got up to leave, only to see corporate security standing there, the leader of them with an amused look on his face. Behind the four guards was another figure, a thin, lean man with the head of a woman in her late-thirties who could not be any angrier. He smiled meekly at her. He wouldn't even get to keep her body for a while. Too bad.
