"And you are?" Mr. Poutier asked as he held out his hand. A feminine hand shook it in a strong grip.

"I'm Mrs. Connor." She said with a smile. Mr. Poutier was a bit surprised. She had a feminine manner and dress, but that handshake, that seemed almost more akin to an old boy's style of handshake. He brushed the thought aside as others joined them and they were shown to the conference room.

The negotiations were cordial but stern and Mr. Poutier noticed the presence that Mrs. Connor and her associate Miss Alverez had. Both of them were at the top of their game and that put him off of his game. He thought he knew how to handle women in the office, even ones they had decided deserved a place higher than where they "should" be located.

Over the next three hours, but especially the last hour Mr. Poutier realized they were getting the better of him at this deal. The problem was he had no defense, it seemed. Each ploy he put out was dealt with expertly, either by a tactic from Mrs. Connor or factual analysis from Miss Alverez. Finally, he had to concede to their terms. It didn't put his company in as good of a position as he would have liked, but they got what they had needed. He had take that at least.

When he left, he didn't bother to say farewell or do the normal pleasantries he would do for any man. He was ashamed of his performance and angry at them for getting one over him.

Once he left, Miss Alverez looked over at Mrs. "Connor".

"Who the hell is Connor?" She asked with a laugh.

"I don't know, just a name I thought of at the last second." Paul Alden said with a laugh. "Sounds good though, right? I didn't want him to know my actual name. He knew me from before."

"Ah, I see." A tall, older man said. "Good thinking, but I doubt he would have made the connection."

"He might have thought I was my own daughter, or a relative. I doubt he would have figured out the whole brain transplant situation, despite the incision. My face was not the parts of me he was looking at anyway."

"I noticed that." Miss Alverez said. "Well, we just saved our company a couple of million so I think it's time to celebrate. Does your husband want to come along as well?"

"Probably not, and I can't stay out long, we've got our own celebration tonight. A month since that accident put our brains in these bodies and a week since we went to the courthouse and got married. Plus, we get the staples out tomorrow. So, I can go, but as you now know, I'm having a busy couple of days!"
