Really damn dark.

Dr. Carey looked over the files, deciding that everything they had done so far had worked out wonderfully. Every single test had worked out and even when the conditions deviated from the expected they were able achieve perfect results.

He set the file down and rubbed his right wrist where there was some chaffing and bruising, a consequence of one of the things that had not gone to plan. Nurse Skarsgard hadn't realized what she was volunteering for, and that was by design. She knew she was involved in a project that would deal with life extension but she assumed it was some sort of genetic experiment and that all of it was secretive due to some new process that they didn't want anyone know about.

Well, she was right, in the sense that it was secretive and they didn't want anyone to know about it. She thought that the fact that she was twenty-five was why they wanted her, her DNA not being degraded hardly at all. They did want her for her age, she get that right as well, but when she was taken in she quickly realized this was vastly different than what she had volunteered for. In the end, they had to restrain her so they could get her to where they needed, not wanting to use too much sedative.

Hence the bruise and chaffing on both of his wrists and slightly on his ankles, though the pantyhose covered those well enough, he thought. Those would heal quickly and easily, he knew, something that would not be happening to Nurse Skarsgard's head...
