"Hands up!" The first police officer, an older but fit man yelled as his younger partner, a skinny woman with short hair, raised her pistol.
The person in front of them raised their hands slowly, their face initially neutral but the further the hands went up, the more a smile started to appear across that masculine face.
"So, you two caught me, huh?" A very male voice said, taking a step forward to find a better position for their heels. "What gave me away? Was it something I said?"
The younger officer stifled a laugh but the older officer didn't even so much as blink. His pistol was not up, but rather out but pointed down, the safety off.
"Cute." The older officer said. "I will admit, this, in theory, wasn't a bad idea. Take someone's body, you no longer have your fingerprints, most of your DNA, hair would be the only real viable trace aside from saliva, but you ran into a tiny snag. Just a small one. I'll leave you to guess as to what it was."
"I should have shaved my beard and put on a wig?" He asked, the smile now very evident on his face. The officer just shook his head in annoyance. Do we really have to do this?
"That might have helped, actually." He said flatly. "Now that I think about it. So, as you know already, because you have to know, a man's head isn't exactly subtle when it's attached to a woman's body. By the way, that woman is pissed and you can add that to all the other charges you've accumulated."
"So, this is it, then." They said. "I don't suppose we can come to an understanding in this regard, can we?"
"No." He said. He looked at his partner, who seemed equally uninterested in that idea. "We can't."
"Well," they said as feminine hands were held out for the handcuffs. "At least I'll be pretty for prison!"
