Dr. Mathers walked into the lab, seeing it mostly empty except for an senior researcher and her assistant. He walked carefully, having the concentrate on his walking as his long, feminine legs took him over to the two of them.

The senior researcher, a middle-aged heavyset woman, smiled as she looked at him.

"I'm a bit jealous, Doctor." She quipped with a smile.

"Maybe I can find you a suitable candidate, if you want. I know that is how I got this."

"I know. I'm the one who set up the experiment." She pointed out. "But I'm guessing you're not here to talk about your new body or a potential new one for me. What can we do for you?"

"This device." He motioned to the clear cylinder. "This is what we'll use for this in future experiments?"

"Yes, if it is a one-way head transplant. We can store the patient's head in this, suspended in a clear fluid, transport them. We can also, like with your case, store the other test subject's head if the previous patient's body is not suitable for transplant. Speaking of which, Miss Summers does not yet have a suitable body for her just yet. We will, of course, keep looking for one."

"Of course." He said. "Is she conscious?"

"No, we thought it too traumatic, so she's sedated until we perform a transplant. Unlike your case, we are restricted to brain-dead donor bodies, so it may be some time. We estimate a few weeks."

"Once you find one, please perform the procedure as quick as you are able. Ideally she has a good body."

"She gets what we can get." The researcher said with a resigned sigh. "It is too late now for anything else. I just hope the pay for her was worth all this."

"I think a big promotion, a million dollar bonus and three million in stock options should make it all worth it. Of course, I cannot speak for her. I can say for me, this was absolutely worth the risk. Anyway, I will let you two work. You've told me everything I needed."
