He had to watch his step, the small obstruction a leftover of some building or wall that no longer existed. As he stepped over it, careful not to break his stride too much, he applauded himself, learning quickly how to navigate while wearing heels.
He would need to learn quickly, he knew, as this body's wardrobe leaned heavily toward the feminine. That was partly why he had chosen it, not just the body itself. He would soon have his old wardrobe discarded and have his new clothes moved in, his suits, ties, and pants replaced with heels, dresses, and hosiery.
He looked down at his phone and saw he had a new message. He checked it and saw it was from the shop, asking when he'd like them to come. He texted back, telling them to wait until tomorrow morning if possible. They agreed and he kept walking.
As he walked, he smiled, enjoying how he felt with his new body below his neck. When he had heard of this shop, he had scarcely believed it, thinking it both impossible that a head transplant could be done and that it could be legal as well, but here he was, walking away from such a place, his new body very much to his liking.
He could not wait to get home and see himself in other outfits... oh yes, right, he realized. He took out his phone, texting the shop and asking if maybe they would reconsider, maybe they could deliver the clothes in a couple of hours? They replied quickly, agreeing and setting up a time. He heartily agreed, and as he sent the text, his new heart skipped a beat. He could not wait.
