Erroll slowly walked around his old bedroom, a smile on his face as he looked around. His smile was not about the room, he had no nostalgia here. In fact, he hated this room. He hated the old style, he hated the damn wallpaper, he hated the curtains, the old furniture, and that wheelchair, that damnable mobile cage...

No, he was smiling because it was the last time he would ever see this place. He looked around it, happy to be done with it for good. He now had the ability to find something better, something that would not remind him of what his life had been for many years.

He had gotten old and frail, and soon he was bedridden in this place. It had taken an old friend reaching out with an offer, a strange, insane offer, but one he could not refuse.

Now here he was, his head grafted onto a new body. He had made sure, at least as best as he could given his limited knowledge and resources, that everything was on the level with this experimental surgery. If it wasn't, he would have rather just died than hurt someone else, but it was legitimate and he now was immensely glad he had.

People wondered why he would be fine with a woman's body, and his response was it was far better than his previous life. Plus, there was something about it, something he liked, something he couldn't quite put his new feminine finger on.

Regardless, this was his life now and this was his last time in here. He turned and walked out. He had a life again, and he wouldn't spend an additional second here.
