A dark caption.
Andrea was getting tired of the photoshoot and after a bit her poses and on-camera expressions showed it. She was a professional, normally poised and careful but today was different.
First, the lake. While a nice spot to shoot and the weather was decent, it seemed like the photographer wasn't taking advantage of that. There were plenty of good spots and yet he gravitated to one spot, a spot near an old shed. Why there? Second, it seemed like his angles and his shots were uncoordinated. His pics weren't bad, but she had worked with enough photographers to know when someone wasn't as experienced, and given his age and how much they were paying her it was surprising to her. Finally, the whole thing just felt, well, off. No overt theme, no mention of a product being sold, no mention seeming connection between the outfit and the location. It was starting to bug her.
He lowered his camera and had her move away from the small dock toward the small shed. She looked the shed over, and then walked over to it to check on the lock, just to be sure. She wasn't taking a chance there. Satisfied that it was fine, she turned to pick up the umbrella and that was when she felt a pinch. She looked down at her hand, seeing a drop of blood forming and she instantly realized she was feeling faint.
Son of a bitch, she thought, she knew something was off...
The shed, the photographer thought as he walked along the dock after the surgery, was part of it, and she seemed to realize that, but not for the reason she would have guessed. In there was where they had the machine, that strange, menacing device that stitched his head onto her body and her head not onto his body. As he walked along the dock, enjoying the sensation of the air and the breeze on his smooth feminine skin and nylon-covered legs, he looked over at the umbrella, smiled, and picked it up, then looked down at his reflection in the water.
My, don't I look like quite the sight, he thought with a laugh. Well, he thought as he looked at his old male head in the water, I look almost as good as I feel!
