A dark caption.

Charles walked out of the backroom of the club, very happy as he walked into the hallway. He closed the door behind him, unworried about if anyone could see inside. The room he had just walked out of was nothing more than a normal backroom, but the room off to the side of this room was anything but normal. That was the room he had been in a moment prior, and the contrast between the two rooms could not be more stark. Instead of conforming to the expectation of it being just another division of a back area it was instead an operating room, and its purpose was simple enough: head transplants. From this secret back area, a discreet medical team performed head transplants for paying clients.

Charles was one such client. He had paid well for this service and was delighted at the results. He had never felt better with his head on the body of his work subordinate, a woman who had just been fired and would not be missed if she were to disappear. As they dealt with the aftermath, Charles heard the music from the club as he walked down the carefully monitored hallway. He wondered if he should go up there and have some fun with his new body, but he shook his head and smiled. No, he'd have plenty of time for such pleasures later. Right now he needed to be more careful. He'd head to his car which was parked behind the club and he'd be home soon after. From there the possibilities were endless. A pity for tonight, but he should be happy still, after all his night was going far better than his former employee was!
