"Satisfied?" Jason asked Kenji.
"Satisfied? I'm far more than satisfied, Jason, I'm very pleased with what your company has done. Tell me, this new technology, how soon is it to being commercially viable?"
"Commercially?" Jason asked. "If you mean if the surgery is ready for the wider medical community, the answer is yes. We've already had several teams trained in its use and are training other teams at hospitals around the country."
"And it will be used for, what, exactly?"
"Mostly multiple organ failure, like in your case. You were lucky that we were able to find a body that was compatible with you and to your, uh, 'additional' suggestions, but that will not always be the case."
"I see. Well," Kenji said with a smile. "If you ever want to consider your surgery being used for more 'cosmetic' reasons, I think I can help you. I would give you my card, but I seem to have misplaced my purse. Anyway, thank you again, and remember what I said."
Kenji walked away, his steps graceful, his walk sultry and measured as he practically strutted out of the door. Jason watched him go, partially curiosity, partly unadmitted lust, and partly intrigue. Use this for something more like plastic surgery? He smiled at the idea. He'd have to give that some thought.
