Connor, if anyone were to pay sole attention to his face, would assume he was either unhappy with something or in serious contemplation. Of course, absolutely no one would be just looking at his face at the moment and would assume his expression was due to his current situation.

There was no attempt to hide it, and Connor saw no point in it even if he wished to. His head and his new body were very obviously not the same and the stitches connecting his male head to his new feminine body only made the distinction even more stark. If one were to look, they may assume his expression was in reference to that.

The truth was a bit more complicated. It was due to that, but not for the reasons that one might guess at. It was his first date after the who incident that put him in his current state of being and he was nervous, very nervous. He was never good at dating so his normal nervousness was compounded by his new body.

Oddly, outfit actually helped soothe his nerves somewhat, knowing that, at least below the neck he looked great in it, but that would not help if his date saw his head and either left, or worse, stuck it out for a very drawn-out, awkward and unpleasant time.

Connor heard a voice beside him and he was so lost in thought he didn't see the person come up.

"Connor?" The voice asked. It was that of an attractive woman of about thirty.

"Kate?" He said, his attempt to mask his concern in his voice failing.

"Oh my god, you look so good!" She said with a smile. "And here I am in more casual clothes! You should have told me!"

"Oh, I, uh, sorry, I'm not used to doing it like this, I..."

"It's okay!" She said, now standing beside him as he stood up. "I love it, very vintage with a bit of a pin-up to it."
"Uh, thank you!" He said, now relieved. "So, why don't we go inside? I've heard this place is great."

"I have heard that. Lead the way."
