"Any luck?" Lindsey asked Jim as she walked into the room.
"None. In fact, everything I've seen so far says this shouldn't even be possible yet. So, I think we're like this for good."
"Great." She said, looking down at her taller, lean male form. "Just what I wanted to hear."
"Yeah, I didn't exactly want this either. Remember that." He said a bit acidly. "But what do you prefer? That I lie to you?"
"No," she said, her voice more soft now. "No, not at all. I just, well, what now? I guess we just deal with it."
"Yeah, he said, putting his hand to his face, still feeling weird that the feminine hand touching it was his. "I guess so."
