"They're still asking for her?"
"Well, about her." The assistant, a tall, prim woman said, looking at her boss. "They seem to know that someone matching her description has been coming here even after she was reported missing. I'm not sure how they've figured that out, we are working on it, I assure you, but that is another matter."
"What have you told them?"
"Nothing so far." The prim woman said. "Just that no one of that name works here anymore, and we cannot comment on previous employees."
"Good, but we may need something stronger to dissuade them if this continues. It seems her husband her family are persistent. They kept it up when she was declared missing and we did think that lull, what was it, a week? A week, I think. We thought that was the end of it. Well, handle both issues, discreetly if you can, very discreetly if you can't. Clear?"
"Very." The prim woman smiled and walked away.
Mr. Carson smiled as his assistant left. If she managed this, she'd get that big promotion she had been clamoring for, the one that the former occupant of his new body was previously up for. Somehow, dealing with the corporate fallout had been the easy part of all this. Her family, it seemed, was less cooperative...
