"My god!" Mr. Reynolds said as he looked at his hand. "It's a woman's hand!"
"Yes, Mr. Reynolds." The woman in the suit said. "I'm Mrs. Valdez, I'm a researcher with the hospital."
"A researcher?" He asked, his eyes still transfixed on his hand.
"Yes, see, you were admitted with a number of health problems, as you know. What you didn't know was you were selected for a new procedure. You have a healthy mind, still cognitively sharp, but your body... you were destined for hospice if we didn't intervene, so we did. Your head is now surgically attached to the body of a twenty-seven year old woman, sir."
Finally, that got him to stop looking at his hands and he finally took notice of the rest of his body. He looked down, seeing the dress, the pantyhose, his feminine body and smooth skin, and he paused for a moment, unsure of what to say.
"I'm not sure what to say. I'm not sure what I should even think here."
"Do not worry, sir. We expected that. Take your time. We will be here to help you. I, unfortunately, do have to go, but a nurse will be by in just a moment or so. Take care."
With that, she reluctantly left. She didn't think leaving now was a great idea but she had an immense amount of work to do. Plus, there was really nothing else she could do. It was all in other people's hands now, including his own.
