"She is still calling!" Nicholas said as he smiled. He turned, wondering if he should take it or not.

Nah, he thought, it was more fun that way, at least for now. He'll let her do this a couple more times before he gives any serious thought to answering.

He could imagine her now. She was almost certainly angry, probably enraged at what he had done to her. Well, he thought, she cheated on his best friend and broke off the wedding two weeks before the date, all the while acting like there'd be no consequences. Serves her right.

He heard the ringer go off again and he looked to see, surprise, it was her again! You know, he did plan on waiting at least one more time, but...

He answered the call and his voice was chipper and sweet.

"Hello, most of Candi, who's this?"

"You... Nick, you bastard! Why did you do this!"

"Don't. You know exactly why, let's not be willfully stupid here. Hey, fun bit of information as well, I'm giving you your body back."

"Yeah, no shit! You did steal it!"

"In four weeks. After the party and the vacation. You're invited too, by the way. Everyone who was invited to the wedding is. Same date, same time, and after that your ex and me are going to have the trip you could have had with him. We'll be back on seventeenth. On the eighteenth we can get this reversed as long as the doctor gives the go-ahead. So, see you in four weeks at least!"

He ended the call and realized he might have forgot something. He was told by the person who did this that if the two people don't get this reversed in thirty days then it would be permanent. Well, it was done today, so it would be close, but she'd get it back.

He then heard the phone go off again, but instead of her, it was his best friend. He picked up right away.

"Nick, good news! I got a call from the hotel, they're offering a special package, same start day but three more days and they'll work with the airline to keep the ticket prices the same! What do you think?"

His best friend, Nicholas knew, had no knowledge whatsoever about the four window. All he knew was he still had a chance go on a trip he had always dreamed about.

Nicholas smiled.

"Sounds great, let's do it!"

"Great, I'll change it right away!"

His best friend hung up and Nicholas smiled. Should he tell her? Nah, it'd be more fun this way!
