He stood on the road, posed, arms folded as he watched as his friend got closer and closer. He hadn't been out here long, but he was eager to get into a car and out from this place.
He looked around, seeing little but borderline desert and this road, not even a building in sight. He wondered why they put him out here, but he guessed it was where they had kidnapped this poor woman, assuming it was her car that was behind him. It would have been nice if they had left him the keys, then he could have driven out of here, but they hadn't done that. They, whoever they really was, at least had the decency to give him his phone and there was reception around here.
His friend was soon on him and he waved for him to stop. His friend stopped and he got into the car, careful in his heels.
His friend could not stop staring at him, but he knew that was to be expected. If he saw a man with his head stitched onto a woman's body, he'd sure as hell stare as well. He ignored it and just looked forward.
"Where to?" His friend asked.
"My apartment." He said. "Might as well be in familiar surrounding while I figure all this out."
