"I'm home, honey!" Dustin said. He had just walked into the house, and had just closed and walked the door when he turned and saw his wife standing there.

For a moment, he didn't think a thing was wrong. She looked like she had just gotten home, she hadn't even changed out of her work clothes, and her not saying anything in response was normal for her. She preferred to make eye contact before speaking if she could and it was only when he did that the illusion of normalcy was broken.

Those staples were impossible to miss and how he had for even a second was a shock to even him. What was more was her demeanor. Not tired, not wanting to talk about her job or his job, no, she seemed to walk with a purpose, her strut confident, even sensual.

However, it was the incision that the staples were holding close that drew his attention the most. He knew what that was and why someone would make it.

"You're not my wife." It wasn't a question.

"No, I'm not." Hanna's voice said softly. She smiled, a strange smile that was knowing, dark, and sexual all that the same time. "She's alive, where I have no idea. The doctor never said. That appointment she had for a CT scan, it was a ruse to get her in. I had nothing to do with it, I just heard the doctor bragging as I came to. I'm guessing your Dustin Barkley, Hanna's husband. Well, 'honey' I don't know what's going on, but I do know that, despite the brain switching this is still a better position to be in than what I was this morning. So, what now? All up to you."
