Helen and Braxton were looking for pumpkins later into the Halloween season, and they knew the pickings were likely slim. Work had just been busy enough that they hadn't had time to go together and find one, an activity they had been doing the last two years.

The first patch was a bust, and the second was as well. The third patch had some pumpkins, but they had one more patch nearby. They'd at least check it out first before making a decision.

The air was crisp and clear, nice weather for a jacket with a bit of a chill in the air. Both of them loved this sort of weather, so it was no issue to go to the fourth patch.

They had been here before last year and saw that it still had a very good selection. When they asked, apparently they had expanded their crop they had done so well, but maybe a bit too much, so the were going for cheap.

Well, both decided, maybe they'd pick out more than one pumpkin, maybe even several. They started to look.

They were slow in the looking and people came and went buying pumpkins, quite a fair number, they both noticed. They had selected one good one, and Helen had chosen two more. They each grabbed one, paid for those all three at once and were going to go get the third when they saw another car drive up.

They took little notice as they walked toward the pumpkin they had decided on, and it was only when were coming back that both noticed the person, who was facing away from them looking at the pumpkins.

The first thing they both noticed was the outfit. Very nicely dressed for being out in a pumpkin patch. A bit impractical, the dress and the especially the heels. Of course, they both knew, had they not had the time today it could very easily have been Helen dressed not too differently from that in a few days time. A busy schedule, they pondered to themselves? Maybe.

They walked up to the seller, just to show they had just gotten the one pumpkin and they then started to take the pumpkin to their car. As they did, the person turned and started to walk.

Braxton nearly dropped the pumpkin and Helen's eyes widened, but neither made so much as a peep. The very feminine body, the one who filled out that dress, that pantyhose, those heels so well, above that body was the head of a middle-aged man! Both kept moving, quickly putting the pumpkin away, Helen keeping an eye behind her for wherever this person was. As fast as they could they were out of there, speeding away.

Manny saw them leave and just shrugged and laughed, walking over to the farmer. He laughed, then walked over to Manny, smiled, and gave him a quick kiss.

"What was their issue?" Manny asked.

"Who cares?" The farmer asked. "They paid and we're closed for the day. So, about that date..."
