Alan sat there, looking around, waiting. His purse and his phone were set behind him, wanting to be careful. He didn't like the idea of it being loose and this was as close as a feeling to just having a wallet as his dress would allow.
He had gotten bored of checking his phone and now just sat and watched, seeing the people walk around. He was amazed though, at how few of them seemed to notice him, and how few of them even gave him a second glance.
He realized he shouldn't be so worried. Head transplants had just been perfected, but a few higher-profile uses of it got people used to it far, far faster than anyone expected. While still rare, it wasn't unheard of to see someone like him now.
He was glad about that, but that didn't change how it still felt weird to have this new body. Being a woman wasn't easy, and he had a newfound respect for what women went through.
He let his mind meander more until he saw a car pull up nearby and a tall woman with a pretty face get out of her car and look over at him and waved a large, masculine hand.
Her body was obstructed by her car, but underneath her pretty head was the body of a tall, lean man. They had met a few days ago and they hit it off. Now, here they were, about to have their first date both together and with their new bodies. He couldn't wait.
