"Oh shit, oh shit, shit, shit, SHIT!" Tim huffed as he ran out of the lab. As he passed all of the weird science-y stuff, he saw the steel door, thankfully open. He bolted out of it as fast as his heels could carry his new lithe body, surprised at how fast he could run despite wearing those damn things.
He didn't stop until he was a block away and he turned to see the place engulfed in flames, with smoke billowing out of the building.
He had no time prior to this to consider his situation. He had woken up in an operating room, just in time to see a small machine catch fire near a jar of liquid that was very flammable. From there it cascaded and now here he was.
Now that he wasn't literally running for his life, he stopped and took stock. Obviously he now had a woman's body and he could tell from his voice and how his head felt that it was likely a brain transplant or something similar. He also hadn't seen a single person in there so he guessed that whoever had his body was long gone by the time he woke up. He hoped, at least.
As he watched the place burn and the fire department show up, he wondered if he should speak to them, to tell them what he had seen. He took a few seconds to decide, then walked over to the engine. He had to. Now, as for his identity and his new body, he would discreetly leave that part out for now. There were more immediate problems. His could wait for a moment more.
