A dark caption.

Nathan didn't think the old man was serious. He thought him mad, just some crazy old bastard who said insane things as a kind of threat. Maybe it was to make people think he was unhinged, maybe he believed he could do it the strange things he was claiming he'd do. Steal his wife's body and pretend to be her? Make Nathan pretend he was her? Even the deranged gibbering people in mental institutions would think he had a screw loose.

So, when Nathan was about to pull into his driveway and he saw a figure walking out of his house, he didn't think much of it. Probably a neighbor, a friend of his wife's. However, when he got a better look, he stopped his car and immediately got out. It was only when he got within a few feet that his blood ran cold.

He knew that face, it was that of the crazy old man, but more importantly he knew that dress and he knew the figure! No way in hell could the old man make himself look like that on his own. That height, the shape, even the way that purse was held. Oh my god...

"You didn't think I could do it, did you?" The old man said matter-of-factly. "It wasn't the ravings of a delusional madman, though I do guess the 'mad' part does apply. I meant it. I had hoped you'd be smart, but when you didn't come around... I think you can figure out the rest. As for her, I'm not going to say for now. Cooperate and I'll tell you, 'honey', don't and I don't think you want to know. So, why don't we go out for a nice dinner and you can explain to the people we meet how a face transplant from an old man saved your pretty wife's life! Shall we?"
