"Who the hell authorized this?" Dr. Ella Sattler asked.
"It appears no one, at least no one that wants to admit it." A small, younger, pretty nurse said. "Check this paperwork out. None of it is right, doctor. Look, they literally scribbled on this one line! That's not even an actual name, it is just an undulating line! Somehow no one caught this."
"My god." Dr. Sattler said, putting a thin hand to her older, attractive face. "Well, thank you. Two doctors, one a department head, four administrators, one consultant, but a nurse a year out of nursing school figured it out before the rest. You have done well. Now, I have one more request."
"Sure." The nurse said. "What is it?"
"We're going to go in there and tell Mr. Hayes all of this. What we know, what we are unsure of, and what we can do. How is he, by the way? I can't see him from my angle."
The nurse leaned back a quick second to see him standing there, almost posed, looking around. She returned to a normal stance, smiled, and shrugged.
"About as good as we can expect."
"Perfect. Follow my lead on all of this. Let's go in and talk to Mr. Hayes."
