She did not know a shortcut, Raoul realized. This alley, he realized just a few steps in that something wasn't right but he followed her anyway. She seemed convinced it was fine and he was trying to convince her to turn around but to no avail.

He didn't realize it then, but she was in on all of this. It was all a ruse to get him here and enact this strange plan. He had to admit, though, it did have a certain style to it, holding his body hostage and only giving it back once he paid them off. For a great many men they would have given anything to get their body back.

The look on her face and those of her accomplices when he told them he was fine like this and walked away was too funny, especially her. She just stood there, now realizing she now had a man's body below her neck for good, and an older one that was not in the best shape. He didn't feel bad for her. She had made her decision on this, and he had made his, but the difference was this didn't bother him one bit and it certainly bothered the rest of them!
