She had thought it was funny to mess with the prototype. She wasn't even a grad student, just an undergrad who needed a bit of extra credit. She wasn't even supposed to be here right now, why was she still messing about?

Dr. Walker went to stop here, but she had plugged it in, and she had turned it on...

Twenty minutes later, Dr. Walker looked at her, huddled in the corner of the lab with his body below her neck, seeing her sobbing as he laughed. He felt little pity for her. He had told her before not to touch anything in that room. He had told her not to even go into that room unless specifically directed. She had ignored two very clear, very easy instructions and now she was paying the price for her foolishness. Foolishness he had tried to stop.

His smile said it all. He was enjoying his new body and he did not care that she was now stuck with his body for good. Oh, did he not mention that yet? Well, better tell her now!
