"Mr. Garcia, you are free to go."

"Thank you, Helen." Santiago said with a smile. "I think I'm ready to get out of here."

"You look ready." She said as they started to walk. "I'll take you to the exit, but we're going to not do the wheelchair. The doctor and I felt this made more sense. Plus, you're going to need to be active and moving as much as you can to get used to your new body, so might as well start now."

"Thank you. This is already odd enough. The wheelchair might have made it even a bit stranger."

"I guess, maybe." She said as they walked to the elevator. "So, all of your current prescriptions are cancelled as you don't need them anymore. I know I said that earlier but I just wanted to restate that. Remember to go to the psychologist in a week and the first follow-up is a month from today. You have all of the papers we gave you?"

The elevator opened and they both got in. Helen hit the button for the first floor.

"My friend that's driving me has them. He's not going to believe how I look dressed like this."

"It is a big change. I should know." Helen said.

"I don't doubt it." He said, looking at her. Her fortyish feminine head and neck contrasted sharply with the younger, muscular, six-foot four male body she had below the neck. "I'm just glad I'm not the only one."

"You're not. It is pretty rare still, but you will adjust." She said with a smile as they exited the elevator and walked to the main entrance. "Well," she said as they walked outside. "Good luck. Want me to wait until he shows up?"

"No, I see his car. He'll be up in a moment. And, thank you."

"You're welcome. Again, good luck and take care."
