"Was it good for you?" He said as he got up onto the sofa, looking into James's eyes.

"You are far too good at that, Gary." James said, now composed again. "I still don't get out you are."

"I know what it was like to have one." He pointed out, putting a hand on James's thigh. "That was before all of this, of course."

"Yes, I guess it would have to be. My wife wasn't noted for having one of those. I'd think I would know."

"I would imagine." Gary laughed. "Still, it is a pity for her. At least that scientist gave her a decent male body after using hers to graft my head onto."

"Did you ever..."

"No, and I don't think I ever will." Gary admitted. "It will be a mystery. That, though, is in the past now. My old body is gone, my old life is over. She couldn't be your wife now,, but, in a sense, I can still be one to you."
