Edmond still could not believe this whole situation. He just sat there, watching her, her head on his body, putting all of her stuff into a large cardboard box.

She looked at him and scowled.

"I hope you're happy." She snarled.

"I hope you are. This was all you're doing."

"You should never have been there! This would never have happened if you weren't there!"

"Oh, so you'd have not pushed that button if I wasn't there? Really?"
"It would..."

"Oh, fuck you, Diane." He said, his voice almost soft in it's delivery. "Don't blame me for your mistake. That's all you've ever done here. Blame anyone but your own self. Well, now you can't blame anyone else."

"It should have been you that was fired!"

"For what?" He said. "You know what, don't answer that, I don't need an insane rationalization from you right now. Just get out and don't let the door hit my ass on the way out."

In a huff, she grabbed her stuff and left. Edmond watched her go, then once she was out of sight, he looked down at his new body.

At least I'm attractive, he thought to himself, his mind immediately shifting gears after that to wonder about who his next boss would be. She was out and technically he was the senior employee for this department...

Huh, it seems that most of her is still the boss after all!
