"And now for the forecast with Dr. Ned Stone. Ned?"
"Yes, Jake, and it looks like..." Ned stopped, looked at display, and turned back to the camera, hands on feminine hips. "Everyone is getting nuked in this neighbor. Obviously, folks, this is not the right graphic, so I'll go through the rest of the forecast."
As he kept going, Ned mentally did the equivalent of a face-palm. Just one more thing to deal with, he thought. As if tonight wasn't hard enough already.
As he talked, going through the forecast for the area, moving to the seven day forecast, he did notice some of the other numbers weren't right. He did know before the broadcast what the real numbers should approximately be and said them, apologizing again for the incorrect graphics.
This was supposed to be smooth, at least this part of it, he thought. The biggest issue he should be having was having to deal with this new body on the set. He had initially be terrified of falling over in heels, wondering if his outfit was a bit too much, everything else but what actually was going wrong.
Well, he thought, at least he had no issues with his new body beyond audience reaction, which he couldn't really help too much. Now, if everything else could just work...
