A dark caption.

She was looking around for somewhere, anywhere she could get in to. A strange man had been following her and she was determined to get away from him. For some reason, it seemed like this alley had no exit. Why did she have to visit here without someone else around her? Why did she have to do it alone?

She looked, saw a small shop, and darted in. She watched the door of the shop, looking out the small window built into the door to see what the man did.

To her surprise, the man paid the shop literally no notice, and walked a couple of doors down to another shop. Damn it, she thought, she had overreacted. He just, he seemed so determined, but it turned out he was just interested in a shop that sold liquor!

She laughed softly to herself and went to leave, only to find the door was locked. She tried it again. She turned and looked to see if there was another exit...

There wasn't, the old man knew. Poor woman, he thought as he walked away from his shop a few hours later. It was still light out and he had closed down early, deciding that as his backroom was being "cleaned" he would have a night out on the town. He did have the body for it, but now if he could walk on these damn heels!
