"Thanks, Steve." Mr. Sawyer said. "It is very good to be back. I trust the people I will be seeing are aware of my current condition?"

"I have made them aware. I must say, my division's technology manages to surprise even me. Just a few months ago none of this would have been possible."

"And I would have been dead." Mr. Sawyer pointed out. "I do understand the implications, and I am grateful for your team's persistent work. You do know whose body this is, right?"

"No, I do not. I assumed it was a brain-dead donor, as was agreed upon."

"Not exactly." Mr. Sawyer said. "That power couple, the ones that were trying to make a grab for power during the shareholder's meeting, do you remember them?"

"How could I forget? If they had gotten the company, we'd have been ruined. Why?' The vice-president was now wary.

"Well, fortunate sometimes favors us. See, there was an accident near a construction site. It was a brain-dead body, just one that solved our mutual problem."

"I, I see."

"Oh, don't be sad, we were not the cause. Oh, yes, also Steve, I'm making this offer to you first. If you want a body much younger and stronger, you have forty-eight hours to go talk to your team's head researcher, free of charge of course.
