Glenn felt almost drunk, both from the care he needed to walk in heels and the unreality he was still feeling from all of this. It didn't surprise him too much, but he had hoped he would feel a bit more at ease after a few days, but no, he didn't. He still felt very strange in his new body.

Of course, what was making him feel more strange was that he was out and shopping while dressed like this. He knew people were surprised to see him this way, hell, he didn't blame them, he'd have been surprised to see someone like this just a week prior and now here he was!

He could have changed, worn something less eye-catching, more subtle, but a part of him recoiled at that notion. It was almost a defiance, a need to show that he could do it, that he could look and feel this way out in public that helped drive him on, despite his misgivings.

As he left his third store, taking his fifth and sixth bags of clothes with him back to his car, he had to admit that inner defiance was paying off. The more he was out, the more confident and happy with his situation he felt. After all, none of this was his fault. He didn't ask for this body, but now that he had it, damn it all if he going to hide from the world!
