The new surgery was quick and Arnold was sufficiently recovered to leave the recovery room to thank the surgeon who did this for him. He didn't ask about his new body. He knew that he didn't want to know any details and that it was unlikely she was a willing volunteer. Not that it would have stopped him from getting the head transplant done, but it did mean he needed to be careful with how he proceeded from now on.

After thanking the doctor, who was doing a person check of some of the tools he had used, Arnold went back to his private room at the clinic to recover some more. He'd be released tomorrow and after that he'd soon be far away from this place. Somewhere he had never been before. The less people that knew him, the better. That way, he could start a new life. His old body and life were now gone and his new one was about to begin.
