A dark story.

Dana and Samantha were just about there. The drive wasn't too long, but they were eager to get out of the car and see the cabin they had rented.

"So, what made you want to go to a cabin in the woods?" Samantha asked as Dana drove. Dana shrugged.

"I don't know. We always choose these trips around cities, beaches, stuff like that. I thought maybe something a bit different would be interesting. Besides, there's a town pretty close by and it checked it out some. Yes, there's a lot of places to eat, and they do deliver too, at least through an app. Besides, we rarely do anything outside other than hang out at beach. I thought a bit of nature might be a nice change of pace."

"Yeah, I guess so." Samantha said as they pulled onto the driveway leading up to the place. "How far is it up?"

"Not too far. Maybe a couple of hundred yards at the most."

She was right." Samantha guessed it was about two hundred yards from where the drive started to the cabin. They parked, seeing that Allison's car was already there.

"I see they got here before we did." Dana said. "I figured they would."

"Well, yeah. They didn't have to work part of a shift."

"That still sucks they made you do that. The place is a bunch of assholes." Dana said.

"Yeah, but I don't have to see them until Tuesday, so screw it. Let's check this place out."

Both of them got out, and Dana smelled the air, definitely enjoying the crisp weather. Samantha was less thrilled, but she did smile at the leaves turning.

"Admit it, you like it." Dana said with a smile.

"I never said I didn't like it." Samantha said. "It just didn't seem like our normal thing, that's all. Should we go see them our grab our stuff first?"

"Grab our stuff." Dana said. "Wow, it's a bit colder than I thought.

"It's October. Late October. I wondered why you wore a dress." Samantha said.

"I like this dress." Dana said, put her hands in front herself as if to display her dress. "I think I look great in it."

Samantha looked at Dana. Dana did look good in that dress, but she was a pretty brunette with a taller, thin build who would look good in anything. Still, it was a nice outfit, a dark green and black sweater dress, and she wore black tights and black flat knee-high boots with it, along with a black leather jacket. Samantha, in contrast, was a bit shorter, a bit plainer, but a bit more busty, however her outfit was pure practicality, wearing good blue jeans, brown hiking boots, a white t-shirt, a thick grey hoodie (that did little to hide her bustline) and a sturdy brown jacket.

"Yeah, you do, but let's get you inside." Samantha said with a bit of a smile as they walked to the door and opened it. They looked around at the living room and kitchen area but didn't see anyone.

"Hello?" Dana yelled in the cabin. Odd, she thought. Their car is our there. They should be here, right?

"Where the hell are they?" Samantha asked before she saw a note on the kitchen table. It was in Laura's handwriting, their fourth friend on this trip.

"Gone hiking with Allison. See you guys soon!" Samantha read the note out loud. "Wow, that's odd for Laura. She hates nature."

"Yeah, but it is beautiful out here. Probably Allison conned her into it." Dana pointed out.

"Yeah, but I hope Laura actually dressed right for this. I've seen her try to where stilettos in four inches of snow." Samantha quipped as she came back into the living room. "Nice place, though. If we had a family cabin like this, damn, we'd have been up here at that all the time!"

"You did do a good bit of camping and stuff like that when you were younger, didn't you?"

"Some. More than the rest of you. So, I'm with Laura, right? I might as well see how much space I'll have in any drawers or if I have to work out of my luggage. She walked into the one bedroom, then the second.

"Oh, for the love!" Samantha almost shouted, annoyed.

"How much did Laura bring?"

"Just come in here. You need to see this bullshit."

Dana walked in and she just facepalmed. There were two large suitcases on the bed, and they were loaded with clothes. Not just more practical stuff like Samantha's, no, she seemed to have something for every possible scenario.

"We need an intervention or something." Dana said. "Yeah, I brought a dress or two, but this is insane."

"I get she's very pretty and she wants to look great al the time, but damn." Samantha said. It was true, Laura looked like a model, tall, model proportions, perfect skin, blond hair, and she dressed like it too. She was was a bit much at times, and a bit dramatic at times, but she was still good to be around and she'd be missed if she wasn't here.

"At least Allison didn't do that." Dana said. "I did find her heels though. I thought she didn't have to work at all."

"They probably had her come into the office before she came here and you know how her place is with formal wear. I'll even bet her skirt suit is here."

Dana went into the bedroom and rechecked.

"The skirt is, along with a couple more change of work clothes. Think she has to meet a client here over the weekend?"

"It wouldn't surprise me. There's groups of cabins here for larger groups, right? Or she has to go in when we leave on Monday."

"That's probably more likely. This is all stuff built around that black blazer she has. Yeah, that does make sense."

"I'm so glad I don't have to deal with all that." Samantha said. "I can just show up in anything safe."

"Yeah, nice thing about being a machinist." Dana admitted. "So, there's a basement to this place, right?"

"Yeah, I think so. Want to see if there's a possessed corpse down there?" Samantha grinned. "Maybe there's a double-barreled shotgun and a chainsaw?"

"If there is, we're out of here. Let's go grab our stuff."

Ten minutes later, they both had their stuff inside and Samantha had just brought in several bags of snacks, with Dana bringing in several bottles of liquor and ingredients.

"Never leave home without your mixing tools." Samantha had to laugh as Dana brought out each bottle or ingredient.

"Which is funny, since I'm the one who drinks the least. I think the last time I drank was with you on Labor Day."

"Better that way. Actually, the last time was... a week ago, but it was just a couple of beers. Oh, that reminds me, we're keeping track of Allison this time. Remember that casino last year?"

"That was one time."

"Yeah, and it was enough one time." Samantha pointed out. "God, I was just thinking, she did all in heels, how could she stay that balanced in those things when she was drunk?"

"She's good in them." Dana said. "I think if your at her company, you have to in order to survive the Christmas party. And run from guys. Her black hair, those skirts and deesses with her figure, that's got to suck for her."

"Hell, I get hit on at work when I just worked ten hours and I'm covered in sweat, dirt, and machine oil. Some people need no encouragement." Samantha pointed out.

"Yeah, I guess... where are they?"

"You noticed that too, huh? Let's check the basement, like for real."

"Good idea."

A moment later they were both at the door to the basement and opened it up. Dana was holding her pepper spray and Samantha now wished she had brought her 20 gauge. She didn't bring a possible weapon knowing if it was too serious they were probably screw anyway.

They went slowly down the stairs and looked around as they did. The basement had some storage in the first room and they realized it was just like the floor above in layout. After the initial room, it was easy. Everything else was empty and even that one room just had storage, a water heater, and a circuit breaker. That was basically it.

They shrugged and then decided to check the map they had been sent of the plot they were on. It was on several acres and they saw there was also two tool sheds, a smaller one nearby and a larger one further down. Past that there were fences and markers showing where their property ended.

"Want to go look for them?" Samantha asked.

"Yeah."

"Want to change first?"

"No." Dana said. "I'll be fine."

The first place was the tool shed and they found... nothing. Just tools, all of which were in rather good shape, Samantha noticed. She thought that was odd. Every cabin she had been at had at least one hammer or axe or pick that looked like it was a swing away from busting, but maybe that was the places she had been to when she was younger. They went to a crop of pine trees and saw where the second tool shed should be. They walked over and checked it out.

Locked, and with a lock and chain that had been worn be the elements. It looked a decent bit larger than the other and seemed in average shape, so both walked away. A trip near a couple of the trails and where they would guess they would be at yielded nothing.

"Maybe we missed them." Dana said hopefully.

"We can head back. It they're not there, then we call the police. Also, can we swing by that other tool shed? I want to see if there's anything in there."

"It's locked."

"Not an issue." Samantha said.

They swung back around and were soon back at the larger shed. Samantha had no issue picking the lock, using just a couple of small tools attached to a keychain. She and Dana pulled the doors open and stood there in shock.

It wasn't a tool shed. It looked more like a hospital room. There were multiple operating tables, and two looked recently occupied, but those two weren't their focus. No, they had two that were occupied.

Dana would know those designer white ankle boots from anywhere. Those were Laura's, her favorite. Above that was a pair of tight faded jeans, and a form fitting blue hoodie. Dana could see those tan hands at her side and the shape of that body was 100% Laura.

Except for one detail. That was not her head! She could see, stitched onto her body, where her head should be was the head of an elderly man, pale skin, very thing face, with soft white hair short hair. Besides that operating tables was another occupied one, and the first thing Dana and Samantha saw was a pair of white sneakers and white socks, then above that a grey dress that would have been chic officewear around 1960. On pale legs were tan pantyhose and there was that black blazer they hadn't seen earlier. Above her collar was black stitches and there they saw the head of a tan old man, round face, black and grey hair, with a thick moustache.

Dana had to turn, feeling sick at what she was seeing. It was their bodies, but not their heads! Oh, god, what do we do now...

Hands, strong hands, grabbed at Dana and Samantha. They tried to fight back, but it was no use. Soon, they were strapped down and the two men on the operating tables started to stir, getting up and looking at the now restrained Samantha and Dana.

"What did you fuckers do to them?" Samantha yelled. "You bastards! You god damned bastards!"

"Hush." A voice said, belonging to the thin elderly man. "Nine-tenths of them is fine! Isn't that good enough?"

They were soon sedated by the strong men that grabbed them, and they saw too younger men, about their age, lay down on the other two tables. Soon, they were drifting off...

Edward and Tony were sitting in the living room of the cabin, Edward leaned back, ankle boots off, and Tony with his tan nyloned legs crossed when they heard the door open. A figure stepped in, making sure to take off the hiking boots before going further and then going to a hanger and putting the jacket up, then walking over to the couch to sit down beside Edward. He then smiled and took off the hoodie, now just in a t-shirt, socks, and jeans, giving his ample breasts a squeeze.

"That body suits you very well, Mark." Edward said with a thin smile. "A pity she couldn't have been better dressed."

"I prefer this." Mark said, his unattractive, heavy face in a harsh smile. "More casual. Besides, I can always change clothes. You can't change tits."

"No, you cannot." Tony said. "I do wish mine were a bit more, uh, pronounced. Did you see..."

Just as he was about to ask, the door opened and shut again. The black leather jacket went onto the hanger first, then the black knee-high boots were unzipped. Black stocking feet padded over to a recliner and sat down, crossing those feminine legs.

"Ah, I see you've arrive, Ken." Tony said. "We were just about to ask about you."

"Just checking to see if everything else was in order." He said. He then felt at the stitches around his neck, joining his average male head to this attractive body.

"Do you think they'll be done soon?"

"They're just cleaning up. Their heads, our bodies, they already took them. Don't worry."

"Good." Tony said. "The sooner those are gone forever, the better. Edward, you look quite content."

"I am." Edward said. "A very nice choice! Too bad she wore so bad of shoes for all this, maybe she could have run away! A lesson she can never apply. At least your body, she had the pepper spray out. It didn't help, but at least she was thinking!"

"Was." Kenn said. "So, ladies, I guess." He stood up, smoothed out his black and green dress, and walked over to the liquor bottles. "To celebrate our new lives. I think we can toast to that, yes?"

"Many times!" Tony said with a laugh. "Why don't you pour us some, and we can start, yes?"

Four drinks were poured and each raised a glass up.

"To our new bodies, may we have better fortunes with these than the previous owners!"
