Newlyweds Carly and Parker Farrell had just gotten to their hotel room and were absolutely giddy. It was the first day of their honeymoon and they were looking forward to a lot of things, however one was on their minds above all at that particular moment. Parker took his jacket off just as Carly leaned in to kiss him, planting a kiss on his handsome lips. She giggled as she pulled back, taking off her jacket as well, a black leather one she had owned her entire adult life, all seven years of her adult life. Both were just twenty-five, and the first of their friend group to get married.
Parker, as she turned just after hanging her jacket up, got a kiss back from Parker, who grinned lustfully at his new wife. While they didn't date or get married to each other due to each other's looks, both were still very attractive, with Parker being lean, fit, and taller and Carly being petite and very cute.
"Oh, I see you want what I want." Carly said with a giggle. "Don't worry, babe, I'll be gentle!"
Parker had to laugh at that. The wedding brought their friends out and close family, along with some relatives that had not realized that the 1950's were dead and gone. One very old great aunt had warned them to stay "pure" for marriage. Carly's comment to Parker was priceless on the subject.
"She doesn't know that ship hasn't just sailed, it's made five round trips now?" He had nearly spit out his champagne at the wedding when she whispered that to him.
But, enough of those errant thoughts, they had more pressing matters than outdated purity norms. He leaned in and kissed her again, now taking another step closers and wrapping his arms around her, leaning down to hold her close. She pressed her small body against him, feeling his jeans on her nylon-covered legs and the cotton of both of their t-shirts. They wanted each other so bad...
But as they pressed against each other, both were stopped in their lustful desires as both started to feel faint. Parker was affected less at first, pulling both of them to the bed, but not having the strength to do more than that. His vision faded as he saw the door to their suite open up and two men in surgical masks come in. From there his vision faded to blackness.
At the same time, Ian and Tina Anderson were a couple of rooms over, getting ready for their respective conferences. Both were in their late forties, and of the two, Tina was the one who took better care of themselves. She was still fit and trim at nearly fifty and still looked great in a dress or a skirt suit. Ian wasn't completely out of shape, but he hadn't kept up in the way she had, with a bit of a paunch where lean muscles used to be even ten years ago. While he was fixing his tie and she was making sure her blazer and heels matched properly, both of them also started to feel faint. Tina never had much of a chance, barely getting to the bed before passing out. Ian managed to get to the couch in the room, and watched as two men in medical garb came in. Unlike the rest, the gas used on him wasn't as effective, so they had to sedate him once they realized he wouldn't pass out. As they sedated him, he did hear them talk.
"Think this guy wanted to be awake? Maybe he heard what we're about to do."
"Maybe he wants it. Hell, it would be an upgrade, wouldn't it?"
"I wouldn't do it, no way in hell, but who knows, maybe he'll like..."
Then the world went to darkness.
Ian and Tina were the first ones to wake up. Ian as a reflex, upon feeling himself waking, brushed a hand against his face.
He stopped. He stared for a moment, realizing instantly something was very, very wrong with what he was seeing. He then looked down at himself. He looked back up. He then ran to the full length mirror in their room to see more fully the situation.
His face was the same, his short brown hair, clean shave, middle-aged average face then below that was his neck, same as normal until the stitches, stitches all around his neck and below that was something he never thought he'd see. Below those stitches was the body of a woman, short and thin, dressed in a black t-shirt with a band he had vaguely heard of, short denim shorts, black pantyhose with a run near the left knee and black sneakers. He felt his new body up, not really believing a moment of any of this.
His wife. What happened to her? He turned to see the a man laying on the bed but instead of a man's head, it was hers! She was dressed in a t-shirt as well, jeans, and black boots. He saw her start to stir and went up to her, putting his hand on her chest.
"Ian, what happened?" She said before seeing him and nearly screaming. She stopped herself. "What the fuck, Ian? What happened? She then reached out for him, then saw her hand and also did the run to the mirror. She stood there and he approached her slowly, putting his arms around her to comfort her.
"I don't know. I have no idea." It was all he could say for now.
Two rooms over, Carly had just woken up. Like Ian, she had come out of the sedation very quickly and now went to get up. She felt a hand on her and went to move it.
What the hell, she thought. It was a woman's hand, probably about twenty years older than they were she immediately jumped up and turned to see who it was.
She stood there, swearing softly under her breath. There was her new husband, dressed in a blue dress, wearing a blue blazer, black pantyhose, and one blue heel, the other on the floor beside the bed. She backed away until she realized how she physically felt, and she looked down.
She was taller, nearly a foot taller, much larger, and, oh god, is that a dick? She saw the erection through her black pants. It wasn't a sign of arousal, just morning wood, but she didn't care or didn't think of it at the time. She felt at it, a bit freaked out by the sensation. She pulled her hand away, feeling around her body, feeling the tie around her neck. As she pulled it off, she inadvertently felt the stitches around her neck and she walked slowly to the mirror. She saw it, her head on a middle-aged man's body, dressed like he was going to work. She turned as Parker bolted up, looking at her, and then at himself.
Of all of them, Parker was the only one who had ever heard of such a thing but it was supposed to be purely experimental. Nothing was supposed to be actually viable yet, he had heard. Well, he realized, he was wrong. It was only that awareness and focus there that kept him from completely freaking out.
"Parker, what happened to us? Who did this?"
Parker got up, kicking off the other heel and walked toward his wife on stocking feet. He hugged her, feeling a good bit shorter than her for the first time in his life.
"I don't know, but it'll be okay. We'll figure this out. It'll be okay."
He wasn't sure if he believed that. In fact, he didn't really, but this wasn't about him right at the moment. She was strong, but he at least had a small amount of information which helped immensely with him being calm. She didn't have any of that and he wasn't entirely sure if even what he had would help them in the slightest.
From another room in the hotel, Dr. Carson was laughing at their reactions. He shouldn't, he really shouldn't, but there was something about the almost cliche reactions he found funny. Except for Parker. That lad knew something was up. Could this be an issue? He'd have to see what he could find out about the man. Well, maybe man wasn't the right description anymore, but for now, who cared?
He knew both were in town for about a week, and he'd keep this going at least that long. How that would go and how that would end would be determined based off of what he could observe here. Strictly speaking, he was violating some many ethical norms and laws that he doubted he could ever get this published. Well, at least if he told the truth of this. Still, this was valuable to learn, how people would react to such a situation if it was forced upon them. Like it or not, if experiments like this were going to be done, this was going to happen eventually and medical professional did need to know what to expect from their patients. He had no illusions of being the good guy here, he knew he wasn't, but maybe it was the bad guy that was needed to get things done, to do it for the greater good.
Sure, he thought, I'll go with that. Why the hell not?
