Kelannpoole Saw the signs in the shop warning customers not to touch the merchandise.  That some of the merchandise was dangerous.  She didn't see the shopkeeper anywhere around and the wooden doll display case was beautiful.  There would be no harm in her picking it up to take a closer look at it and taking it to the counter to purchase it right?

As soon as she touched the case she was blinded by a flash of light and disappeared!

An indeterminate amount of time passed and eventually, the shopkeeper walked by and stopped in front of the doll case.  He leaned in and took a close look at the doll that now occupied the empty case and shook his head and kept walking, "Some people never learn..."  He murmured under his breath.

The doll that was Kelannpoole was eventually purchased and spent the rest of its days as part of its owner's decor.
