It's been more than a decade since that fateful day when Dawn immortalized herself as a beautiful marble statue. When Jun has time he continues his search for the ingredients he needs to restore his wife to flesh and blood. In the meantime Dawn stands in an alcove in an art museum that is owned by the person who owed Jun a favor.

Since she hardly ever has human contact as a display piece in a museum it took her years of very brief moments of consciousness to figure out that she needed human contact in order to function. Except for those all too brief moments of sentience Dawn will spend most of her existence as a completely inert object until she is restored. If she is restored.
