“After mom died, dad was miserable for years.  I tried my best to cheer him up but nothing helped  and then he met you Sally.”  Michelle said the last part with scorn in her voice.

I was overjoyed that he found another reason to be happy again, but then I met you and saw you for the gold digger that you really were.”  She said angrily.

“I tried and tried to make him see you for what you were but he wouldn’t hear anything of it.  I guess love can truly be blind.”  Michelle sighed.

“I put up with you and your daughter Nikki without complaint for the last couple of years since I was spending most of my time at college anyway I didn’t have to put up with the two of you very often.  Then Dad had his accident...”  She said, pausing sadly, remembering that horrible day when she got the news.

“You two didn’t even wait till his funeral was over to show your true feelings for me.  Your disdain finally revealed itself as open hatred.  I can’t say I didn’t reciprocate those feeling back though.  I still took the high road and ignored the two of you since I knew I was going back to school.  That was until I decided to go in to your room and snoop around while you were out getting drunk at the clubs the same night we buried my dad.”  She said, anger growing.

“I saw the documents giving all of dad’s considerable assets while leaving me penniless.  That was the last straw!  You proved by your actions that you were exactly the gold digger I thought you were.  You had no feelings whatsoever for dad.  You only wanted his wealth!”  Michelle was screaming now.

“You finally drove me to use the powers I inherited from my mom.  My mom was a bonafide, spell casting witch.  In the time that she was still alive she taught me all that she could before she passed.”  she said with a small smile now.
