  Amber

Amber quickly read through the loose papers and then grabbed Judy's notebook and skimmed through the last pages of that as well then turned back around and leaned in close to the inert figure and peered intently at it for a few moments before letting out a low whistle. “Wow Judy...  That’s really you isn’t it?”  She said in a quietly astonished voice. “According to your notes right after spring break started you found a strange book in the school library and found a spell in it that sounded cool and copied it down.  From the looks of things you tried it out.  Oy, silly girl.”  Amber chided her inert roommate. “You’re lucky that even though I’ve never practiced the art I know all about it.  I come from a long line of Witches and my Mom has taught me some rudimentary skills.  You must have some magical aptitude in order for you to be able to read what was in the book let alone actually cast the spell.  If you knew what you were doing though you would have notice the part where it stated that there needed to be a target for the spell.  Since you were the only one in the room guess what!  YOU became the target of your own spell!”  Amber scolded Judy.  “Let’s see if we can get you back to normal.”

“Wh...  What...  What’s going on?”  Judy thought as consciousness returned to her inanimate form. “OH MY GOD!!  Amber!  Thank goodness that you are back!   Please figure out that this is really me!”  Judy pleaded silently to her roommate, hoping beyond hope that Amber would figure out what was going on and that she would be able to fix things.

Judy watched Amber as best she could with her fixed field of vision and when Amber leaned in close and said she would see about reversing the spell Judy thought, “YES!   Please be able to reverse this!  Please!  Please!  Please!”
