No transformations in this one but I'll make up for that in Origins 6 which is almost done! I should have it posted by mid-week. Let me know what you think!

The Stand: Origins 5
“Wow! I can’t believe we partied all night!” Deana said while nursing her newly purchased coffee.
“Heh, it’s been a while since I’ve pulled an all nighter like that. I had fun.” Vivian said with a smile while sipping her coffee.
“Well, now that we’ve had some fun why don’t we start talking business.” Deana replied.
“Ok, where do you want to start?” Vivian asked.
“This will be the first time I have combined my magics with another witch. Most of my enchantments involve defense and enhancements.” Deana explained.
“Enhancements? What kind?” Vivian asked curiously.
“Oh physical enhancements like strength and agility and I can also increase resistance to illness, poisons and temperature changes just to name a few.” She replied.
“I can also make items that will adjust a wearers appearance, both illusionary or real. I have never done any changes as extreme and what you have done though so I will need to do a lot of research and observations on some examples of your handy work so I will be able to incorporate what we want to accomplish in to my designs.” Deana finished.
“OK, providing you research material won’t be a problem.” Vivian said with a gleam in her eye. “When do you want to get started?
Deana laughed while shaking her head and then said, “Even though I’ve never worked with another witch like this before I’m not naive enough to not enter a pact with you. We both want to be protected don’t we?” She finished with an arch look.
Vivian laughed out loud and replied, “I wouldn’t have it any other way. With what we are trying to achieve I would have been inclined to leave you alone....most likely but this will be better. Do you have anything thought out yet?”
“Yep! Here is the pact that I propose: Deana Williams and Vivian... Uh, what’s your last name?” Deana asked sounding slightly embraced.
Vivian laughed again and replied, “Darkmoor”
Vivian cleared her throat and continued formally, “Deana Williams and Vivian Darkmoor do formally enter an agreement to combine forces to create magical items together. During our partnership both parties will refrain from using their magics against the other unless the express permission is given to do so by the other party. The agreement between Vivian Darkmoor and Deana Williams will be terminated when both parties agree to terminate the partnership.”
“How very formal.” Vivian commented with a whimsical expression, “you know just a simple statement of the two of us not using our magic on the other without permission would have done the same thing?” She finished with a chuckle.
Deana laughed and replied, “While I’ve entered in to a couple of pacts before, this is my first time composing one. I wanted it to have a little gravitas.”
“Well, then let’s commit to the pact then.” Vivian said conjuring up a small, needle like knife from thin air and grabbed the extra cup that was on the table.
Vivian gave her index finger a prick and let a couple drops of her blood to fall in to the cup. she then handed the knife hilt first to Deana who did the same thing. Vivian then asked Deana to hold on a second and cast a fairly lengthily spell and released it. Suddenly all talking and movement stopped in the coffee shop.
Deana looked around the store her eyes going wide and saw that everyone was frozen in place, completely unmoving, “Wow, I am suddenly really glad that I insisted on entering a pact.” She finished looking a Vivian in awe.
Vivian gave a small smile while beads of sweat started to appear on her forehead, “I’m glad you appreciate that I can stop time but it is REALLY taxing to do. So lets get on with our pact eh?” She finished in a strained voice.
Without any more delay, both Vivian and Deana recited the formal pact that Deana had composed. When the last word of the pact was said by both women the blood in the cup spontaneously combusted, signifying that the pact was now complete and binding. If either woman tried to use their magics against the other without permission it would be reflected back at the woman who cast it, causing them to fall victim to their own spell.
When the smoke from the cup dissipated the activity of the people around them resumed like nothing had even happened and Vivian breathed a sigh of relief as she let the spell expire.
“Now lets go back to your shop. The amulet I’m wearing records everything going on with my body. It should be able to record the changes I go through when you turn me into a mannequin. How’s a thirty day stint on your sale floor sound?” Deana said in a very business like manner but couldn’t keep a slight blush from creeping up on her cheeks.
Now it was Vivian’s turn to be shocked. “Heh, lets head back and get you ready then.” she said with a wide smile.
