This is NOT the start of the Prequel I was talking about in my journal. This had been floating in my head for a while and I thought it was a cool idea.
Here is the text from the caption:
Anna and her boyfriend Jack really enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons. Anna loved it so much that she made a cosplay outfit to match what she envisioned what her Elven Ranger wore. Anna was showing her handiwork off to her friend Jess and was going on about how much she loved the game when Jess asked Anna if she wanted to make things more 'immersive'.
Anna knew about Jess and her abilities as a witch and jumped at the opportunity that was being offered to her. Jess had Anna get in to her new outfit and assume a pose in front of a mirror like she was getting ready to shoot an arrow from her prop bow. After Jess made a couple of adjustments to Anna's pose she cast and released her transformation spell.
Anna would have gasped at the sensations she was feeling from the spell doing it's work on her but it completely immobilized her instantly. Looking down the shaft of the arrow she had drawn could see feel the changes happening to her as she felt them. She saw and her skin loose it's natural healthy glow and felt it as the pores on her skin closed up making her skin unnaturally smooth and glossy as it finished transitioning to plastic. She shuddered inwardly and was a little disturbed as she watched the spark of life fade from hers eyes with all the color fading from them as they turned in to all white, lifeless plastic as well. The loss of detail on her eyes caused her vision to be partially obscured. She heard a crackling in the air as she watched her out fit in the mirror go from fabric to hard plastic.
Anna got this far along with the transformation when she also realized she wasn't breathing anymore! She was concentrating on that so she wound up being startled when Jess entered her fixed field of vision and said she was impressed with how well Anna had turned out. Hearing Jess talk Anna also realized that everything she heard sounded muffled. Sounds were so muffled that Anna couldn't understand what Jess was saying to her!
Anna was getting more and more worried about her sight and hearing being impacted that she didn't notice right away that she was shrinking! Anna could only watch helplessly as she kept shrinking and shrinking, finally stopping when all she could see in front of her was Jess's shoe.
She gave out a mental cry of fright when Jess scooped her up with an enormous hand and placed Anna in her purse as she walked away with her. Once inside the purse she was plunged in o darkness abut could feel the purse moving around. It wasn't too much longer after that when the purse opened and she was scooped up again by an index finger and thumb be her head and deposited in to another hand. The new face loomed large in Anna's reduced vision and she could see that Jess had just given her to Jack. The huge smile on Jack's face made all the weirdness she had just experienced worthwhile.
Anna then heard the two of them talking some more. If she could still make out what people were saying around her she would have heard Jess explain what was done and when Jack was ready to restore Anna to just give her a call.
Anna also discovered that it was hard to keep track of time while in this state. She didn't mind because it felt good every time she was handled and even though she couldn't see them very well it was cool to be 'eye-to-eye' with the other figurines on the grid map. Jack also made sure to pick her up and handle her gently and for the days in between game nights he kept her on display with his other collectibles.
As the days passed though it got less and less fun. The figure wasn't bored exactly. It just stopped thinking about it. The figure was fulfilling the purpose for which it was manufactured for. It still felt good when it's owner used it but sometimes the figure didn't always realize it was being used. Most of the time it would be on the map and moved around for hours before realizing it was among other figures.
The Elven Ranger figurine came close to remembering itself as Anna when it finally noticed it was being treated differently by it's owner. Owner wasn't being as gentle with the way he handled the little figure. Instead of being kept out in the light on a shelf it noticed it was being kept in the dark in a small box, with other figurines. The figurine briefly grew concerned with the change in which it was being treated but it quickly came to the conclusion that it shouldn't question its owner and stopped worrying about it.
With how the transformation effected her the diminutive figurine that used to be Anna didn't realize was a couple of months in to her transformation her boyfriend Jack took her to a game convention to use her in a campaign and during one of the scheduled breaks Anna and a handful of other figurines and gaming gear was stolen.
The thief still uses his ill gotten goods. Even to this day he is still amazed at how detailed the Elven Ranger figurine is and how lucky he was to score such a unique figurine at that convention two years ago.
