“I realized today while at work that this is a special day Nick.” Anna said to the purse laying on the ledge a few inches from where she was sitting.
“It was just after I put you in my desk that I got to thinking about it and I had to do some thinking but today is the two year anniversary of me turning you in to this purse!” She said in a congratulatory tone.
“This also marks another milestone. This is the first time I’ve ever left anyone transformed for so long.” Anna said in the same cheery tone.
Her expression then turned sheepish, “Although I do have to admit I didn’t start out with the intention of leaving you like this for these two years hubby. When I first changed you I had so many outfits you matched with. I used you so often you actually started to show signs of wear.” She said while tracing a finger across a scuffed and worn corner seam.”
“Before too long I didn’t have any of the clothes left that you went with so I put you on the top shelf of the closet and forgot about you. My spells cause that to happen sometimes...” Anna said with a cringe.
“Thankfully for you I found the cute skirt I’m wearing this weekend. When I decided to buy it I almost bought a new purse to go with it but I had a feeling I had a purse a home that would work so I didn’t.” She said.
“So after I got dressed for work this morning I rummaged around and found you. You didn’t match perfectly but I figured you were close enough match that I could use you today and just buy a new purse after work.” Anna explained.
“Now I just have to figure out what I want to do with you.” Anna said with a thoughtful expression. “It’s faint but I can still feel you in there. What’s your state of mind I wonder? How does it feel to have my stuff stored inside you? Do you still think of yourself as Nick, or are you even thinking at all any more?” She asked, thinking out loud.
“Now that I remember that you were my husband I want to turn you back and have you with me again but... Our Coven is having it’s next meeting next summer and leaving you as one of my purses and taking you to the meeting in this state will increase my reputation in the Coven.” She let out a long sigh as she contemplated what she was going to do.
“Sorry Nick but I think I’m going to leave you like this at least until the next Coven meeting. The bragging rights I’ll have for leaving you this way are just WAY to tempting to pass up! I wonder what Tara will have to say?”
