"Usually, Sam played roleplaying games to forget about his life and job. Although he loved his job, he was a bit burned out on it because for the most part his bosses were or idiots (if he was lucky) or total assholes.

His job situation, combined with the general state of things in the world, was making him a bit cynical and pessimistic. That’s why the most part his hobbies that he had were solitary (reading), or online. Despite this, he was loyal to his friends and family, and enjoyed staying with them at least a couple days per week.

When he played roleplaying games, he usually made female characters, because secretly he always had the fantasy to be a woman, and besides that permitted him to distance himself more with his normal life when he played.  Because, although he never would admit it aloud, he enjoys the thought of the change and the transformation. 

Now that Sam, now Mara is in Trivium, she thinks about finding a way to return to earth in her downtime, because she misses her friends and family (and the conveniences of the modern world, Hunting and killing animals for food was messy and she didn’t enjoy cleaning the kill.), but she secretly is thinking about how to return to earth and keep her new female form.  Besides, her new body was strong, agile and her innate fighting skills and training made her feel powerful."
