An Evening With Doyle
Illusion Two- Boxing Lulu (Part 1)
The brawny magician turned to the audience. "Now, I've, uh, been told I should have some audience participation in these shows, so- remember those cards from earlier? Whoever got the queen of hearts, you can-" A gentlemen stood up, waving the card. "Oh, I was hoping a lady would have caught it." There were chuckles from the audience. "Ah. Uh, you, sir, what's your name?"
Doyle listened. "Yes, Josh, you can- wait, don't rush the stage! Why don't you pick someone else for me." Josh's shoulder's slumped as laughter spread through the audience. "Ah, don't worry, Josh, I'll get you up here soon enough, but pick someone at random. Who's this fine lady? ... You're girlfriend, eh? Well, close enough to random. What's your name, miss?"
"Lulu!" she called out, loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Well, all right, Lulu, come on up on stage! Everyone give Lulu a big hand!"
The lovely young woman climbed up the steps and waved to the appreciative audience as she strode across the stage. Meanwhile, the stage hands moved a chest on a table onto the stage, while Avery pushed a particular box out behind Doyle.
