Yay, I'm still alive! I'm still writing! And I've published something. It's very much not what you'd expect though, but I do think some of you, at least, will find it interesting: minimal character, minimal plot, just raw ideas for illusions.

Some people love the nuts and bolts of writing, some people hate it. If you hate it, then imagine this to be random thoughts from the perspective of The Magician as he tosses around ideas for new illusions in his head, and skip the next paragraph.

If you love the nuts and bolts, then take it for what it is- random stream-of-consciousness entries from my notebook, completely unfiltered, typos, misspellings, and misclicks uncorrected. The only editing I've done is for theme. (This one's wringers and such.)
I won't deny it, I write these mainly for personal titillation. But frequently the ideas get refined and put into my stories, so in a way, it's a test bed, where I piece out what works and how it fits together, then later wrap characters and a plot around it. If I end up posting more of these notes and going back in time even further, you might even see the crude forms of illusions I've featured in The Magician's or Chardonnay's stories. And you might eventually see some of the ones above in future stories.

Lastly, if you like any of the ideas here and want to use them for your own stories or artwork, please feel free. Though I'd appreciate a mention for the idea, at least! :)
