As I'm sure y'all know if you typically read my descriptions, I'm often trying to re-invent the wheel when it comes to sequences. Comics tend to do a much better job storytelling, but for me, the sequence is sacred. It's the first type of transformation art I ever saw, and will likely always be my favorite. In this case I'm injecting comic panels into the gutters to tell a parallel story in the past tense. I hope it works, and that y'all will enjoy this fairly self-indulgent transformation. (I drew this back in October, so it was timely for my patrons haha)
