In the kingdom of Marzipania, where the sweet smell of marzipan mixes with court intrigue, the cruel and ambitious Prince Kalendor Verden dreams of the throne. For this reason—and also because he enjoys it—he kills the old archmage and takes possession of an ancient artifact capable of changing the perception of reality and controlling minds.

The throne is already close, but before using it on the king and his inner circle, it needs to be tested. Somewhere where, even if someone learned the truth, that person could easily be removed from life. Peasants—who else.

And overall, everything went perfectly. The old barns recorded changes that were real, even if they were not what the prince wanted. However, he did not yet know how deep these changes were, when everywhere he went he was seen and perceived as a simple miller’s daughter.
